[shadows continue to scream in all panels]
Panel 1: A shadow raising the axe over the blonde guy cultist.
Panel 2: Mira in the background, tugging on the tendril that tethers that shadow. It is pulled back and looking toward her. MIRA: "Hey! No! No." SHADOW: "EEAE?"
Panel 3: Dani surveying the scene, speaks. Mira looking incredulous, answers. DANI: "Y'sure about leaving them alive?" MIRA: "What, you want to kill them?"
Panel 4: Dani explains. DANI: "Just thinking through our alternatives. We call the city guard, they’ll believe a bunch of rich assholes over a couple adventurers. We just leave, they’ll go back to murdering people for-"
Panel 5: Dani turns to look at the blonde guy cultist on the ground. DANI: "Hey. Why are you doing this?" BLONDE GUY CULTIST: "Oh, well-"
Panel 6: Blonde guy cultist, lacking the good sense to be ashamed of himself, answers casually. BLONDE GUY CULTIST: "Bonuses at work are going to be a little light this year-"
Panel 7: Mira and Dani look at each other, both feeling intense hatred for these people. BLONDE GUY CULTIST [rambling in background, same as his wife earlier, he mentions having to make hard decisions, and how it is really hard on them, too, but he wants to take his family on a trip to Avalonia]
