Panel 1: The cultists scatter as tentacles burst forth, grabbing them in pulling them toward the portal and certain death. The shadows dissipate or act in random confusion. The basement walls and floor start to crack. BLONDE GUY CULTIST: "AHHHHHHHH!" STAFF CULTIST: "AAAAAIIIIEEE- GKGLKK" BALD CULTIST: "We’re sorry!" SHADOWS: [various screaming] SFX: "KRK KRK KRK. RUMBLLLEEEEEEEEEEE"
Panel 2: Mira and Dani run up the stairs as the blonde cultist is grabbed by a tentacle, more snake their way toward the stairs. Whispers swirl around Mira’s head. SFX: "KRK KRK"
Panel 3: Mira gestures a simple but powerful spell in a panic, breaking the basement door off of its hinges. The cracking in the basement is spreading farther up the house. SFX: "CRANCH!"
Panel 4: Dani looks down at her right arm as a tentacle grabs it. DANI: "Shit-" SFX: "KRK. RUMBLLLEEEEEEEEEEE"
Panel 5: Mira turns back, whispers around her.
Panel 6: Dani clutches the door frame with her left hand as the tentacle pulls on her right arm, sliding down as it pulls her sleeve, showing a large scar on her arm. DANI: "Shiiiiiiit-" SFX: "K-KRK. SHFFF. RUMBLLLEEEEEEEEEEE"
Panel 7: Mira clutches at her head as the dark whispers intensify, blasting in her head: “FLEE!”
