Panel 2: The boy looks at her, unflinching as he continues to cast the light magic.
Panel 3: The girl’s arm is being cleansed of ash and the burn wounds are closing.
Panel 4: The girl looks down at her arm, clean and healed. The burns are still present, but they are closed, only the skin is burned. She is shocked.
Panel 5: The present. Dani lies in bed looking up at her arm and the long-healed burns, now only sizable scars on her skin. Her expression is very neutral.
