Panel 1: Looking down a dark stairway, dim light coming from one side of the bottom.
Panel 2: A basement, a washer and dryer to one side, a tool shelf on another. Kneeling by a circle of candles and strange writing, a figure places a bowl amid the circle. He is wearing a dark blue hoodie and jeans.
Panel 3: His hand grabs a knife from the floor beside him.
Panel 4: The figure's eyes, dull and half-lidded. A small mole sits just below and to the side of his right eye.
Panel 5: The figure slices his right palm with the knife, blood oozes from the wound. SFX: SHLLKK
Panel 6: The stubble-covered lower face of the figure as he hisses from the pain of his self-inflicted wound, "Hsssss-!"
Panel 7: The figure holds his hand over the bowl, letting blood spill from his open palm into it. SFX: PLT PLT
