Comic, Seven Panels
Panel 1: The figure looks emotionlessly at his bleeding hand.
Panel 2: He slaps his hands down onto the edge of the circle on the floor. SFX: SLAP SLAP
Panel 3: He begins chanting in a strange language.
Panel 4: As he chants, dark tendrils begin creeping out of the runes that form the circle.
Panel 5: The chanting continues, a candle flame begins to blow out from a strange wind. SFX: Fwsss
Panel 6: Instead of going out, the flame bursts into a larger flame, but a black flame that emits no light. The dialogue bubble containing the chanting  becomes black and purple. SFX: Fwoosh
Panel 7: The small tendrils of darkness have become long, snaking threads of dark magic, and are pouring into the figure, who continues to chant.
