Comic, Six Panels

Panel 1: Cult woman shouts more at Mira. WOMAN: "Why couldn’t you just die for us?!"
Panel 2: Dani, her right side splattered with blood, has grabbed the woman’s knife arm. Both the cultist and the still dazed Mira look at her in surprise. DANI: "Stubborn, I guess."
Panel 3: Dani slams her knee into the cult woman’s gut, knocking the wind out of her. WOMAN: [wordless gasp] SFX: WHUMP!
Panel 4: Dani shoves the woman back into the doorway, and the grasping tentacles reaching up from the basement. Still short of breath, the woman wheezes out pleas for mercy. WOMAN (FAINTLY): "Wait! Please!"
Panel 5: The hoarse pleas of the woman are closed in the house as Dani pulls the front door shut, shouting in after her. DANI: "You’ve still got a knife! Try cutting ‘em!"
Panel 6: Dani, looking quietly angry, shuts the door. Mira, slowly regaining her sight, looks at her, supporting herself on the railing. SFX: KI-KLIK
