Comic, Seven Panels
Panel 1: Dani, facing away, says nothing. Panel 2: Dani turns slightly, and pulls her scarred right arm out of sight. SFX: "SHFFF" Panel 3: Mira, looking up at Dani, starts to speak. MIRA: "I- I’m sor-" DANI (off panel): "Well." Panel 4: Dani turns around, a relaxed grin on her face despite still being spattered with blood. DANI: "I’m gonna go take a shower." Panel 5: Dani starts walking away, giving a half-wave as she steps off the stoop. DANI: "You stay safe." Panel 6: Mira turns in surprise as the door next to her is struck from within. SFX: "THUMP THUMP" Panel 7: Mira runs off the front stoop, and away from the house, as Dani walks off in the opposite direction. SFX: "THUMP THUMP THUMP"
